Philly-based saxophonist, producer, and sonic storyteller Steve Davit returns with Calling, a serene and cinematic instrumental that blends organic textures, spacious melodies, and field recordings into an evocative listening experience. Set for release on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, Calling is a reflective journey—guided by Davit's signature saxophone and grounded in a deep sense of emotional clarity.

Known for his genre-blurring approach to groove and melody, Davit steps into a more ambient, introspective space with Calling, layering sax harmonies and vocal melodies with natural bird sounds and evolving drum grooves. “Calling is about listening inward,” says Davit. “It’s the feeling of stepping out into the unknown, following something instinctive—and eventually finding yourself back where you started, but changed. It’s less about chasing a goal and more about tuning into what’s already there.”
